A mobile crushing installation with a support frame which accommodates at least one crusher adapted to be raised and moved, as the extraction of ore progresses. Transporting means such as a caterpillar tractor, is provided. A receiving hopper is provided for receiving bulk material brought in by mobile loading trucks. A conveyor feeds the bulk material to a transfer hopper on the crusher, and if necessary, through a screening unit. In order to increase the availability of the mobile crushing installation while retaining optimal loading capacity of the loading truck, the receiving hopper is arranged to pivot upon the supporting frame about a vertical axis. The receiving hopper may also pivot about a horizontal axis located in the vicinity of the material dumping location. |
