MULTIFUNCTIONAL WATER TREATMENT AGENT

PURPOSE:To provide a multifunctional water treatment agent wherein an anticorrosion agent and a scale preventing agent are easily compounded without easily generating the decomposition of a slime treatment agent in water to develop stable effect and the functions of all of the agents can be sufficiently developed. CONSTITUTION:A polyfunctional water treatment agent is composed of a mixed agent wherein a water-soluble cationic polymer (1), phosphonic acid (2) or a salt thereof and (or) a carboxylic acid type low mol.wt. polymer (3) are compounded as effective components or a mixed agent where in hydrazine (4) is further compounded with the components (1), (2), (3) as an effective component. By this constitution, stable effect is developed without easily generating the decomposition of a slime treatment component in an aqueous system and not only slime preventing effect but also scale preventing effect are marked as compared with the single use of a conventional cationic polymer and the functions of the respective components are sufficiently developed and this treatment agent has anticorrosion effect to copper material quality without especially requiring an anticorrosion agent for copper material quality and slime preventing action is drastically enhanced by compounding hydrazine.
