PURPOSE:To obtain a light-projecting type distance measuring apparatus which can measure distances with the simple constitution. CONSTITUTION:A photoelectric conversion photodetector 16 performs photoelectric conversion for the reflected light from an object and has a dead zone 16a at the center. The photodetector 16 is attached on a scanning plate 17. The change in photoelectric output appears by the scanning of the scanning plate 17. Therefore, control can be performed with a processing circuit. The scanning plate moves following the depression of a release lever 11. An electromagnet 23 is turned OFF with the processing circuit, and the phase of a control lever 21 is determined. The distance information corresponding to the distance to the object is set based on the phase. |
