The invention relates to pyridine-2,4- and -2,5-dicarb-oxylic acid derivatives of the formula I (I) in which R1, R2 and X have the indicated meanings, to a process for the preparation of these compounds, and to their use, in particular in medicaments for influencing the metabolism of collagen and collagen-like substances and the biosynthesis of C1q.
