PURPOSE:To supply good air mixture at all times when electrification of a heater is stopped even if fuel property differs. CONSTITUTION:An engine cooling water temperature Tw and a fuel property judging signal are read in (S1), and fuel property is identified on the basis of the fuel property judging signal (S2). A heater electrification stopping temperature T is set on the basis of the above identification (S3), and the detected water temperature Tw is compared with the set temperature T (S4). When it is in relation of Tw > T, electrification of the heater is stopped, and when it is in relation of Tw <= T, electrification of the heater is continued (S5, S6). It is thus possible to set variably a heater electrification stopping water temperature according to fuel property, and also carry out good fuel atomization at all times when the heater is stopped. Furthermore, it is possible to carry out electrification of the heater without any loss so as to eliminate useless power. |
