The circuit improving the operating speed and the efficiency comprises: a start address means for displaying the characters or graphics on display section; a pulse generating means which detects the split start line of horizontal line for resetting the start address means; a start address register for storing the start address; a selective means for outputting the output of the start address register selectively; a counting means generating the address register a counting means generating the address. The dividing function of screen is executed not by the computer software but by the hardware. Hence, the result leads to the decrease of burden in computer system.
