PURPOSE:To obtain a print like a hand-written one by printing out data based upon a printing format stored in an address data storing area and changing the character size of specific characters included in the address data to a half of normal character height to print out the size-converted specific characters. CONSTITUTION:In the case of printing out address data in accordance with a printing format including character size and a digit pitch set up by area processing, character strings are written in a printing character buffer at first. In the case of printing out an address in the character strings, whether specific characters are included in the character strings or not is judged. The specific characters are like Chinese numerals converted from Arabic numerals, a hyphen connecting two numerals, 'cho-me' (meaning a town division number in Japanese), 'banchi' (meaning an address number in Japanese), etc., and when one or more specific character strings are included in the character string, the size of the specific characters is converted into a half of normal character height and full size specific character data stored in the printing character buffer prior to its conversion are rewritten by the specific character data converted into half size. Thus, the print like a hand-written one can be printed, and the natural printing of address is realized. |
