PURPOSE:To form an image of high quality without any ground fogging or turbulence with respect to the image forming device where a photosensitive drum with an exposure means built-in and a developing sleeve carrying developer are disposed face-to-face and, after the photosensitive drum surface is electrified by making the developing sleeve slide on and rub it, an image is formed while carrying out development approximately at the same time as exposure. CONSTITUTION:The sliding and rubbing of a developer pool and the photosensitive drum 1 surface are cut off in the stage where developing is finished to prevent the turbulence in the image and being electrified again. This is carried out mechanically in this device. Because the developing is carried out at the same time as the exposure or immediately after it, it is necessary to place a mechanical restriction member in an exposure position where an exposure head is focused on the drum 1 or downstream in the direction of rotation of the drum 1 than the exposure position. Furthermore, the restriction member is placed in a state of no contact with both members so that there is no turbulance generated in the layer of developer carried on the developing sleeve 20 side. |
