PURPOSE:To surely prevent the failure of greasing, etc., of a formed image caused by the filming of a photosensitive body by interrupting an image forming means whenever an image forming action is executed by a prescribed number of sheets, setting a filming eliminating mode, and eliminating the filming of the photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The image forming action is interrupted whenever it is executed by the prescribed number of sheets, setting the filming eliminating mode (S101), and the filming of the photosensitive body is eliminated in this filming eliminating mode (S102). After a prescribed time lapses, the filming eliminating mode is released, and the image forming action is resumed (S103). On the other hand, a selecting means choosing whether the image forming action is interrupted or not, in the filming eliminating mode, is provided, and whenever the image forming action is executed by the prescribed number of sheets, the filming eliminating mode is set according to the selecting state of the selecting means. Then, it is preferable that the filming of the photosensitive is eliminated in the filming eliminating mode. |
