PURPOSE:To enlarge an image with a special image enlarging plate. CONSTITUTION:An image enlarging plate 3 disposed on the surface of a liquid crystal display panel 1 is composed of many transparent sheets 21 whose thickness becomes gradually large from the flat bottom 21b side toward the flat top 21a side and separating films 22 alternately arranged and joined in an adhered state. The transparent sheets 21 fulfill the function of optical fibers. Light reflected by the separating films 22 for reflection emerges from the tops 21a of the sheets 21 as shown by the solid, chain or dotted line and an image in the thickness direction of the sheets 21 is enlarged. |
