Increasing the electrostatic charge capacity of powder lacquers or powder for surface coating of solid objects is effected by incorporating ca. 0.01-10 (wt.)% of triarylmethane, azine, thiazine and/or oxazine cpd(s). (I) homogeneously, so that (I) are dissolved or dispersed in the powder lacquer system or powder.
