Ring spinner control - has program for spindle speeds and cop winding to vary nominal values automatically and maintain constant yarn tension

To determine the nominal spindle speed, esp. for the spindle drive at a ring spinner to give automatic changes from the nominal value as the cop size increases, nominal value changes are set into the operating program as different function types in steps of 20-1000 steps. Spinning parameters are coupled to the selected changes in spindle nominal values, in the operating program, for transfer to the machine control. In operation, the nominal value is adjusted on line according to the actual values as required. The changes in the nominal values are effected automatically and proportionally either to the spindle speed or the amount wound on the cop according to the value of the other parameter. The settings are inserted for the spindle speed or cop winding to cover start-up, main spinning and the end of spinning, with splicing. Pref. the parameters for each spinning section take in the start and end speeds and the amount wound on the cop, or the type of function to change the spindle speed, the number of step changes in the speed or cop contents and the acceleration between steps. The various function types ensure short start-up and end times to give a constant draw tension on the yarn. ADVANTAGE - Consistent yarn quality through all stages of the spinning and winding process, with reduced yarn breaks. Gives a variety of spinning programs for automatic working.
