Vaporisation of liq. gas stored for convenience is effected by heat exchange with atmos. air in a pair of heat exchangers. The ice or frost forming in one exchanger during evapn. is subsequently melted by passage of vaporised gas from the other exchanger which has been heated electrically by a heater in a feed line linking the two exchangers. Temp. level in heated gas is related to external atmos. temp. The two exchangers are supplied from a common liq. gas source. Valves controlling gas flow operate in dependence on temp. measured in final gas delivery line to usage point. |
