The clutch operating device connects and releases an engine shaft (105) with and from a gear input shaft (22). It has a release fork (31), a casing (23), and a plate spring (29). On the outer periphery of the gear input shaft is an axially displaceable release stop (24) with an outer ring and an inner ring. At one end of the release stop is a transmission part (30) which under the influence of the release fork (31) presses the plate spring (29) against the engine shaft (105) and is displaceable arranged in relation to the plate spring. The release stop (24) has a crown of balls which are arranged between outer and inner rings. USE/ADVANTAGE - A motor vehicle clutch arrangement which reduces pedal vibration.
