<p>Treatment or prevention of myointimal proliferation in atherosclerosis, restenosis induced by angioplasty or vascular reconstructive surgery, glomerulonephritis, glomerulosclerosis or other diseases involving vascular cell proliferation, with a natriuretic peptide or a neutral endopeptidase inhibitor such as N-[N-[(L)-[1-[(2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl)methoxy]carbonyl]-2-phen ylethyl]-L-phenylalanyl]- beta -alanine and N-[2-mercaptomethyl-3-(2-methylphenyl)propionyl]-methionine, or with a neutral endopeptidase inhibitor in combination with a natriuretic peptide or an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor are disclosed.</p> |
