<p>PURPOSE:To automate warehousing and delivery of article completely while suppressing installation cost to a low level, thereby promote labor saving and make effective use of the space in an automatic warehouse. CONSTITUTION:Respective moving racks 6a-6b are moved in one direction, and the shelf-side, namely a place for warehousing and delivering an article 9 to be warehoused and delivered, is emptied. After a traverser body 13 is moved parallel to the respective moving racks 6a-6b and positioned in a place corresponding to the shelf of the moving racks 6a-6b, a warehousing and delivering device 8 placed on the traverser body 13 is moved in the direction perpendicular to the direction in which the moving racks are moved, and positioned at a place corresponding to the moving racks 6a-6b to perform warehousing and delivery of the article 9.</p> |
