PURPOSE:To determine an interval of a vacuum handier according to the size of electronic parts which are fed in line out of a parts feeder, and are aligned with no gap therebetween, to widen the interval to a constant interval of no less than the size of the electronic parts to a degree that a process in the following stage will be facilitated, and to provide a method and a small device of aligning the electronic parts at low cost. CONSTITUTION:Electronic parts fed in line out of a parts feeder are aligned in a line, while a plurality of aligned electronic parts 24 are lifted at the same time by a vacuum handler 23 so as to carry them up to a predetermined position, and when an interval between the respective electronic parts 24 is widened up to a predetermined level, chain links 17, 18 by which the vacuum handier 23, by which each electronic parts 24 are individually sandwiched, is supported, are opened from a closed condition, and the relative interval of each electronic parts 24 is widened up to a determined level. |
