PURPOSE:To provide a thermally reversible image forming method using a recording material constituted so as to repeatedly perform sharp printing. CONSTITUTION:A recording material is formed by coating a base material with a composition (thermoplastic discoloring recording material containing an electron donative color forming compound, an electron acceptive compound a discoloring temp. control agent and a low volatility solvent as essential components and further containing a nucleating agent if necessary. Pref., the thermoplastic discoloring recording material is included in a microcapsule and applied to the base material along with a binder. By the use of this recording material, an image is erased by natural standing and the formation of an image can be repeatedly performed. |
