PURPOSE:To prolong the service life and reduce the dimension of a press-fitted type spline. CONSTITUTION:A guide part 11 which is inclined by a prescribed inclination angle for the tooth trace of an inner spline 3 is for for the tooth trace of an unit spline 9. A press-fitted part 10 which has a prescribed length in parallel to the tooth trace of the inner spline 3 which extends toward both the edge parts of the tooth trace of the outer spline 9 is formed continuously in the guide part 11. The press-fitted part 10 is formed at a nearly symmetrical position with respect to the tooth trace of the outer spline 9. Accordingly, when the outer spline 9 is press-fitted into the inner spline 3, the contact between the press-fitted part 10 and the tooth space wall of the inner spline 3 becomes surface contact, and the surface pressure can be reduced. Accordingly, the abrasion between the outer spline 9 and the inner spline 3 is lightened, and the service life can be prolonged. Further, the influence applied to the press- fitting length and tooth space length due to the manufacture error can be eliminated, and the dimension and weight of the press-fitted type spline coupling can be reduced. |
