PURPOSE:To prevent the soiling of the surrounding part by toner dropping from a cleaning device which is separated from a discharged toner box and moved with an upper unit when the upper unit is open, to improve a maintenance performance and the quality of an image, and also, to prolong the life of the device. CONSTITUTION:The inner part of the toner duct 42 of a housing 38 for a cleaning device 18 is elastically sealed with a rotatable discharging roller 47 made of soft urethane foam, and the discharged toner 41 is discharged by rotating the discharging roller 47, meanwhile, when the upper unit is open, the toner duct 42 is sealed by the discharging roller 47 in a stationary state so as to prevent the discharged toner 41 from dropping through the toner duct 42. Thus, the maintenance performance and the quality of the image is improved, and also, the life of the device is prolonged without soiling the surrounding part. |
