PURPOSE:To obtain the subject emulsion, having high stability in storage and suitable for bonding automotive internal trim materials by continuously charging colloidal silica, etc., into a uniform solution containing a tackifier resin, a surfactant and an organic solvent dissolved therein while heating and stirring the solution. CONSTITUTION:The objective emulsion is obtained by dissolving (A) 100 pts.wt. tackifier resin such as polymerized rosin having 60-130 deg.C softening point in (B) 5-100 pts.wt. organic solvent such as toluene or dibutyl phthalate and (C) 2-10 pts.wt. surfactant such as an argionic or a nonionic surfactant while heating the components (A) and (B) and then continuously charging (D) colloidal silica in an amount of 5-100 pts.wt. expressed in terms of the solid content and (E) an aqueous emulsion in an amount of 100-500 pts.wt. expressed in terms of the solid content in the above-mentioned order under solution temperature conditions of 30-80 deg.C. |
