摘要 |
PURPOSE:To eliminate the coloring of display caused by the angle of visual field and to obtain optimum white display in spite of the change of the angle of visual field. CONSTITUTION:The upper halves 11a and 12a of a pair of cold cathode fluorescent tubes 11 and 12 for illuminating a liquid crystal cell 10 on a liquid crystal side are set to have the chromaticity value of white, and the respective lower halves 11b and 12b thereof are set to have the chromaticity value of the complementary color of the display color of a liquid crystal display element in accordance with the change of the angle of visual field. Thus, coloring caused by the change of the angle of visual field is corrected by the light of the complementary color from the color cathode fluorescent tube and the excellent white display is obtained all over the area of a display surface. |
