PURPOSE:To change tempo at the leading position of the next bar in which the tempo is set when the tempo of automatic performance is changed. CONSTITUTION:The tempo can be changed at the timing of the bar by providing automatic performance memory 8 in which automatic performance data is stored at every rhythm in unit of bar, a musical sound generation circuit 10 which reads out sounding waveform data SP from musical sound waveform memory 9 based on the automatic performance data read out from the automatic performance data memory 8 and derives it as a musical sound signal, a tempo setting operating means 16 which sets the tempo to read out the automatic performance data from the automatic performance data memory 8, and a tempo control part 19 which sets prescribed tempo when data with bar timing in the automatic performance data is detected. |
