PURPOSE:To ground the belt-shaped photosensitive body by contact of its 2nd conductive layer and a conductive driven roller so as to stably ground the body and to prevent the damage of the conductive part by the effect of wear and mechanical force by forming the 2nd conductive layer on the rear surface side of an insulating base layer and conducting this layer with a conductive layer on the surface side by a conducting path penetrating the inside of the insulating base layer. CONSTITUTION:The 2nd conductive layer 5 is formed on the rear surface side of the insulating base layer 3 of the belt-shaped photosensitive body constituted by forming the conductive layer 2 on the insulating base layer 3 and providing a photosensitive layer 1 on the conductive layer 2. The conduct of the conductive layer 2 and the 2nd conductive layer 5 is executed by the conducting path 4 penetrating the inside of the insulating base layer 3. Then, the stable grounding from the rear side of the belt-shaped photosensitive body 15 is executed with the simple constitution from the conductive layer 2 to the conducting path 4, from the conducting path 4 to the 2nd conductive layer 5 and further from the 2nd conductive layer 5 to the conductive driven roller supporting the belt-shaped photosensitive body 15. The damage by the wear of the belt-shaped photosensitive body 15 is lessened in this way and the longer life is obtd. |
