PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration in the performance when an anisotropic low foam dielectric body is employed by a single layer by setting slot patterns of a slot disk corresponding to 1st and 2nd dielectric constants in a direction orthogonal to each other. CONSTITUTION:A transmission wave fed from a coaxial line 4 propagates to a radial guide path 6 in which a low foam dielectric body 5 of single layer structure is packed from a probe 4a as a cylindrical wave with axis symmetry outward radially from the center of the path 6 toward the peripheral part. Then a desired radio wave is radiated from a slot array arranged on a spiral wire S2 having a directivity in which the dielectric constant in, e.g. the X direction of a slot disk 3 is smaller than that in the Y direction. Thus, the desired radio wave is radiated even when the anisotropic dielectric body 5 is employed as a single layer by setting the interval of the slot pattern in at least the radial direction corresponding to the 1st and 2nd dielectric constants in the X and Y directions orthogonal to each other in the dielectric body 5 and the radial line slot antenna whose performance is not deteriorated is realized. |
