<p>The invention relates to a convertible boat top construction. The construction enables the top to serve selectively as a roof when raised, or as a deck when lowered. The top construction comprises a roof section (1) carried by a pair of swinging arms (2). The arms enable the roof section (1) to be moved from a raised position in which it serves as a roof, to a lowered position in which it serves as a deck. Preferably, the top construction comprises a rear wall section (3) suspended from the rear edge of the roof section (1). The rear wall section consists entirely or partly of a window that can be opened or closed when the roof section (1) serves as a roof and is folded under the roof section when it serves as a deck.</p> |
