<p>PURPOSE:To reduce variation of a choking characteristic by a method wherein a coil is wound on a plurality of cylindrical inner core split sections having flange type cores fixed on both ends, these coils are connected in series and inserted to a pipe type outer core. CONSTITUTION:Windings 23 are wound on a plurality of bobbins 22 respectively, the bobbins 22 and flang-type core 24 are arranged alternately with their axial center aligned and they are fixed by inserting a stick-type inner core 9 in the bobbins 22 and the cores 24. And the adjoining windings 23 are connected in series successively and they are inserted in a pipe-type core 12 with their axial center aligned. Thus, one unit of choke is formed with a bobbin 22, a winding 23, cores 24 located at both ends of the bobbin 22, and cores 9 and 22 located between the cores 24. As a result, this cylindrical ballast stabilizer can be regarded as an apparatus consisted on a plurality of these unit chokes connected in series. Therefore, the variation of a choking characteristic of each unit is cancelled each other and said variation can be considered as reduced when viewed from the standpoint of the entire ballast stabilizer.</p> |
