<p>PURPOSE: To improve burst error correcting capability by interleaving two fields in one frame alternately in internal code length units and diffusion an error ever two fields. CONSTITUTION: A frame interleaving part 200 reads data of odd numbered fields and even numbered fields coded by an external error correction code part 100 by internal codes and arrays them so that they cross each other. An internal error correction code part 300 after adding vertical additional information to data outputted from the frame interleaving part 200 transmits it progressively. An internal error correction and decoding part 900 corrects an error within the correcting capability if the error occurs to demodulated data, but adds an error flag to an error exceeding the correcting capability. A frame deinterleaving part 1000 retrieves the data and transmits the corresponding odd numbered or even numbered field data in external code units.</p> |
