摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To suppress the short-circuit current of a main and subsidiary type potential transformer and to keep the residual voltage at an appropriate value when a short-circuit took place by a method wherein the main (or subsidiary) winding and the auxiliary winding being wound around the core of subsidiary (or main) winding side are so connected as to induce voltages having the opposite direction. CONSTITUTION:A main winding 2 and an auxiliary winding 2' being wound around a core 4' of a subsidiary winding side are so connected as to induce voltages having the opposite direction. A subsidiary winding 3 and an auxiliary winding 3' being wound around a core 4 of the main winding are so connected as to induce voltages having the opposite direction. When the number of turns of the main winding 2 and of the subsidiary winding 3 are made equally as N2(1+k), k<1, the number of turns of the auxiliary winding 2', 3' are selected equally as kN2. When the sectional area of the cores 4, 4' are equal, the flux phi/2 is constantly generated, and the combined voltage of the induced voltages becomes as E2(1+k)-kE2=E2 to obtain the rated voltage. Although a short-circuit trouble takes place in the main winding 2, the flux of the core 4 becomes to phi/4 and the flux of the core 4' becomes to 3phi/4 to obtain the combined voltage of 0.2E2, and the residual voltage can be held to be appropriate.</p>
