PURPOSE:To automate the restart of a batch job at the time of generating a fault. CONSTITUTION:An execution status monitoring means 14 recognizes the program name of a program being executed at present in a job stream 11. A management file storing means 17 stores the recognized program name in a management file 13. An abnormal state detecting means 18 receives an abnormality generation message from an OS when abnormality is generated and informs the abnormality generation to a management file referring means 16. At the time of receiving the information, the means 16 refers the file 13, extracts the program name of the program being executed at the time of generating the abnormality and informs the program name to a control file retrieval execution means 15. The means 15 retrieves a control file 12 by using the received program name as a key and obtains a restoring processing job stream name and a restart job stream name the restoring processing job stream is executed to initialize an execution environment and then the restart job stream is executed to restart the processing. |
