The casing accommodates a floor-concealed door closer. It is manufactured from a plate-shaped material, and the corner connections are folded. The door closer is fastened by a screw connection (30) via a fastening nut (14), to the base (3) of the casing. The nut is non-turnably held in a bead (12), and secured against dropping out by a clip (17). At the other end, the door closer is fastened via clamp connection, to the casing. The clamp connection consists of a screw device, with loose wedging pressure pieces. The pressure pieces support themselves on the screw head of the device, on the contact faces of the casing, and on the contact face of the door closer. USE/ADVANTAGE - Floor-mounted insert housing or casing can be used for many types of door closers.
