The floor support is formed as a box-like hollow profile. Within the box, parts of the inner floor, e.g. tiles, are fastened to the basic body via elastic inserts. The box forms a cage (2), enclosing an elastic damper body (5). The cage is horizontally divided into a top and a lower section. These are located in the floor at a relative distance (a), while the damper body connects the parts, and supports them against each other. The damper body is larger than the cage, and maintains the constant distance between the sections. USE/ADVANTAGE - Improved noise insulation of floor in railway carriage.
