Contamination proof catheter hose union - has apertures in halves brought into line as required

The union is for use between hoses, tubes etc. partic. those delivering substances to and from a catheter. A top half has several connections for infusion hoses etc., while a bottom one has one or more unions for a catheter passage. The apertures in the halves for the connections can be brought into line with each other, those not in line being sealed off watertight and contamination-proof. The union can be enclosed in flexible transparent plastic sheet, sterile on the inside, leaving only the connections free. The halves can comprise discs turned in relation to each other on an axis to which the apertures are parallel, these being on a common pitch circle centred on this axis. ADVANTAGE - Easy to use, with max. protection against contamination.
