PURPOSE:To provide the housing structure of an outboard motor which prevents suction of water into an exhaust housing following the start of an engine. CONSTITUTION:In a housing structure wherein an exhaust housing 7 to contain an exhaust pipe 4 is formed, an exhaust gas release passage 12 is formed in the exhaust housing 7 and a valve mechanism 18 having an elevatable ball valve 20 is formed in the exhaust release passage 12. |
