<p>PURPOSE:To improve efficiency for use of an electron and to prevent luminescence from being irregular by a method wherein electric charge is prevented from being accumulated in a useless part in an optical writing device which uses a principle of a fluorescent character display unit. CONSTITUTION:In an optical writing device to which principle of a fluorescent character display unit is applied, an auxiliary electrode 13 to which negative voltage is impressed is arranged near a fluorescent material 4 and resiliency is made to act between an electron emitted from a filament 7 and the auxiliary electrode 13. The electron is concentrated on the fluorescent material 4 part effectively thereby to prevent it from reaching a useless part.</p> |
