PURPOSE:To clarify a relation of various parameters for determining a picture quality of an ultrasonic tomographic image and an image, and to synthetically evaluate an image by providing a signal processing part for converting an RF signal to ultrasonic tomographic image data, and an image evaluating part for executing various image analyses and evaluations based on the output of the signal processing part. CONSTITUTION:When a parameter required for processing an RF signal is inputted from an input device 22, it is inputted to a signal processing part 16, and parameters of a noise level, various filter constants, etc., are determined. Subsequently, an RF signal required for imaging is read out from in a recorder 20, processed and becomes an image signal and is recorded in a recorder 20. Next, by an image forming part 17, an image signal in the recorder 20 is converted to a video signal, and displayed on an image display device 19 together with various calculation parameters inputted from the input device 22. Also, the image signal in the recorder 20 is read out by an image evaluating part 18, and by an instruction from the input device 22, various image evaluations such as a frequency analysis, a statistic analysis, etc., are executed. |
