The invention relates to an espagnolette lock with espagnolettes which are displaceable as a result of the rotation of the latch or the like, and with a follower which is assigned to the latch and which, held in its basic middle position, is pivotable out of this in the opposite direction counter to a spring load, the lock case carrying a face plate continuing, on the far side of the lock case, in the form of freely projecting face-plate portions, behind which are guided the espagnolettes which control additional closing members, for example pivoting bolts, arranged in the region of the face-plate portions, in such a way that these closing members are actuated both as a result of the rotation of the latch and as a result of the freeing of at least one force accumulator, loading the espagnolettes, by means of a release actuated by the frame or the like during the closing of the door, and proposes, for the convenient positionability of the release even when the espagnolette lock is of only small depth, that the release (62) and/or the force accumulator (55) be arranged on the rear side of the free projecting face-plate portions (1'). <IMAGE> |
