<p>PURPOSE:To make lightning surge current flow uniformly into plural lightning protection insulators arranged in parallel without concentrating in a specific one. CONSTITUTION:Plural lightning protection insulators 10 are arranged in parallel, in which current limiting elements 12 having a non-linear voltage-current characteristic are contained, and also which is having a fixed rating for treating lightning surge current. Charging side and earthing side end parts of each lightning protection insulator 10 are linked with lower and upper connecting fittings 16 and 9 respectively. A discharge electrode 18 as a charging side electrode is fitted to the lower connecting fitting 16 at a position having the same impedance interval from the linked positions of each lightning protection insulator 10. Similarly a fitting adapter 8 as a steed tower fitting part is mounted on the upper connecting fitting 9 at a position having the same impedance interval from the linked positions of each lightning protection insulator 10.</p> |
