PURPOSE:To reduce a line holding time and a time till a pager is called without a complicated input procedure for the pager calling in an ISDN paging system. CONSTITUTION:An ISDN terminal equipment 1 sets a pager subscriber number and a call message to a user user information element in a SETUP message in the case of calling to make a connection request to a paging device 4 via an ISDN 2. After the end of call connection, the paging device 4 extracts a pager subscriber number in the user user information element in the received SETUP message and a message to be displayed on a pager 6 and uses a call processing means 41 to call the pager 6 thereby sending the message and it is displayed on a message display means 61. A message return means 42 informs the result of calling to the ISDN terminal equipment 1 in a voice message. |
