PURPOSE:To stably protect a light absorptive layer and a light reflection layer by successively installing the light absorptive layer, the light reflection layer and a protective layer on a light transparent substrate and further, providing a protective plate via a cushion material layer on this protective layer. CONSTITUTION:This optical recording medium 1 has the light transparent substrate 2, the light absorptive layer 3 formed on one surface of the light transparent substrate 2, the light reflection layer 4 installed on this light absorptive layer 3 and the protective layer 5 installed thereon. The protective plate 7 is provided via the cushion material layer 6 on the protective layer 5. The cushion material layer 6 is so disposed as to exist in the upper part of the light reflection layer 4. The exertion of external force at the boundary face between the light reflection layer 4 having weak adhesion and the protective layer 5 is effectively prohibited in this way. The protective layer is prevented from peeling even if the layer receives the external force. |
