PURPOSE:To provide a means to facilitate an abnormality processing work when abnormality, such as jamming, occurs to the interior of a conveying body during image forming operation, in an image forming device having an image forming station and a recording material conveying body. CONSTITUTION:When abnormality is detected by means of detecting means 20a-20f, image forming operation is immediately stopped. A conveying belt 8 serving as a conveying body and a resist roller 13 serving as a drive control means are driven for a given time in succession, and control is effected by a CPU 21 so that all recording materials 6 are placed on the conveying belt 8. |
