The subject of the present invention is a support device for interventions by virtue of various tooling in volumes (26) to which access is difficult, and which can be filled with a liquid (34) and include at least one access hole (7). The said device includes at least one float (10) of elongate shape in a main direction (YY') of section perpendicular to this axis compatible with its insertion through the said access hole and such that combined with its length and the dimensions of the other elements, the said float can pivot in the said volume (26) from the access hole (7). This float holds itself, as well as holding all the associated equipment, at the surface (33) of the said liquid. This device also includes a turret (9) connected to the said float (10) by a joint (15) allowing it to be folded back against this float about its main axis, and allowing it to be deployed into the operational position about a vertical axis, and, at its free end, carrying the said tooling, and any means for displacement (12, 22) and for control connection (13) from the said hole (7) and fixed onto the said float (10). <IMAGE>
