PURPOSE:To raise efficiency, making effective use of wave motion generated by a piezoelectric element in an ultrasonic motor wherein the piezoelectric element is used. CONSTITUTION:A drive unit 1 is assembled by inclining a piezoelectric element 1a and an inertia substance 1c so that the wave motion generated by the piezoelectric element 1a is be propagated over the whole area of the contact face in contact with the rotary drum 2 of a driver 1b. |
