PURPOSE:To provide a double-face information recording medium at a low cost, whose recording capacity is large, and whose transferring speed of data is fast, and to provide a driving device on which the pertinent information recording medium is mounted, and which can operate the recording and reproduction of the information or the like. CONSTITUTION:The two information recording faces constituting the double-face recording type information recording medium, are constituted of an information recording face 2 with a preformat pattern, and an information recording 3 without the preformat pattern. The recording and reproduction of the information for the information recording face without the preformat pattern or the like is executed by operating the tracking control of a head device arranged opposite to the information recording face without the preformat pattern by a tracking servo signal read out by an optical head arranged opposite to the information recording face with the preformat pattern. |
