PURPOSE:To realize a light emitting diode device with an external circuit eliminated. CONSTITUTION:An end face light emitting diode 1, a monitor photo diode 2 and a current amplifier circuit 3 are formed into a single package module 4. Light emitting from a rear of the end face light emitting diode 1 is incident to the monitor photo diode 2 and amplified by the current amplifier circuit 3. By dividing the drive current of the end face light emitting diode 1 by means of the current amplifier circuit 3, malfunction can be prevented. |
