<p>PURPOSE:To attain the highly accurate pointing actions with an information processor by using a touch panel attached to a display device. CONSTITUTION:When a mouse is connected to 8 CPU 1 via a mouse connector 8, the CPU 1 performs the processing control in accordance with the input information given from the mouse 9 end based on the control, program stored in 8 ROM 2. meanwhile the CPU 1 performs the processing control in accordance with the input information given from 8 touch panel 7 end based on the control program when the mouse is not connected to the CPU 1. Then the CPU 1. displays the processing data on a display device 5. Under such conditions, the fine pointing actions are possible with the mouse 9 connected to the CPU 1. When the mouse 9 is not connected to the CPU 1, a fine adjustment area is shown on the screen of the device 5 for the fine adjustment of the position of a cursor. Then the cursor is moved within the adjustment area with touch of a finger tip. Thus the cursor position is finely adjusted in response to the moving direction end the movement extent of the cursor. Then the highly accurate pointing actions are attained with use of the panel 7.</p> |
