The diverter is for transmission of control movements from a Bowden cable, to the change control of a gear hub of a bicycle. The gear is actuated by a selector pin, through a central bore in the axle. The diverter has a housing, and a thread for screw fastening to an axle end. The guide slide (25) is in constant active connection with the selector pin (3) via balls (11). These are contained loosely, in a row, in a guide channel (17). The channel is formed by the guide sleeve (9), the deflector (13), and the guide groove (29) of the guide slide. ADVANTAGE - Consists of integral unit, but can be manufactured economically in large numbers, due to choice of material and assembly.
