The gearwheel (6) on the reduction shaft (7) can be coupled to the latter by a second switch coupling (16) which is operated in the opposite direction to the first switch coupling (15). A thrust freewheel (18) is mounted between the first switch coupling and the input gearwheel (5). If, through the first coupling ,the input gearwheel is connected to the output shaft so that a direct through drive occurs,the second coupling is disengaged so that the reduction gear is no longer driven ADVANTAGE - The wear and thus associated temperature are considerably reduced for a longer service life.
