<p>An enlarged area addressable matrix is disclosed comprising the following major components: a matrix addressable circular display (25), a square mounting plane (27), display drivers (10, 11, 12, 13, 20, 21, 22, 23), and routing between the display (25) and the display drivers (10, 11, 12, 13, 20, 21, 22, 23). The display (25) is located on the square mounting plane (27) so that four corner regions are formed where the display (25) does not cover the square. These four corner regions are used to accommodate the wiring and driver circuits needed to control the display. Thus the display (25), display drivers (10, 11, 12, 13, 20, 21, 22, 23), and routing all fit on the same mounting plane (27).</p> |
