<p>A bar code labelling system uses a microcomputer (11) to provide data for transmission to a labelling unit (15) which prints the bar code labels. To charge bar code data an operator uses a key pad (12) to instruct the microcomputer (11) which then formats data for transmission to the labelling circuit (15). The system has the advantage that bar code information to be printed can be changed easily.</p> |
